CAM TAYLOR CO SEES POSITIVE TRENDS OCCURRING
July saw a noticeable increase in company wide sales for Cam Taylor Co Realtors. Many reasons are attributed to this turn in the Columbus housing market.
- Although our local real estate landscape continues to be a buyer’s market; less inventory, affordable home prices, first time buyer’s credit and favorable interest rates have created a much better balance ~ consumer confidence is once again on the rise
- Although other parts of Ohio are far more economically depressed, Columbus maintains its stability due to the state capital and its reputation as a strong transportation and distribution industry
- Our diverse economy; through health care, hospitality, manufacturing and the tech industry contributes to a resilient job market
- Its central geographical location lends itself to an increase of distribution employment nearly 1/3 since 2001, while the rest of the nation, on average, has been in a downward mode
We’re optimistic this trend will continue into the 3rd quarter of 2009 with the number of “in contracts” set to close in September and October.
