Columbus Greenspot
We, at Cam Taylor Co., Realtors are very close to committing to join the recently formed www.columbusgreenspot.org. This organization, developed by Mayor Michael Coleman, Columbus, OH. www.cityofcolumbus.org is aimed at households, business organizations and community groups. The website offers suggestions on going green from water consumption to recycling pop cans and water bottles in the office. For example, the average person uses 120 gallons of water per day! Electronics left on save mode use up 5% of electronic usage per year! The average person throws away 350 grocery bags per year!
At Cam Taylor Co., we have done our best to be good “green” people for a long time. We re-use the blank side of non-confidential papers for individual use in the copy machine. We collect, crush and take to recycling spots our pop containers. We search for companies to use for our recycled goods, i.e. cardboard. We use a water cooler rather than bottled water in the gallon containers. We also are prompting our employees and agents to remain healthy so we do admit to purchasing small water bottles, a no-no in staying green, but a good thing in human water consumption. Columbus, OH. and our Mayor Coleman care about the environment. We do too. Visit www.columbusgreenspot.org for ideas you might use and contact www.camtaylor.com for all your real estate needs!
