Fill the summer with fun in Columbus, Ohio!

Just a short drive from Columbus, Ohio there are so many possibilities for summer fun. All are within the surrounding Columbus area or at most just a couple of hours away, and all popular events for the whole family!
Consider driving to Nelsonville Pottery, 1-740-753-1285, call for hours of operation.
The Franklin Park Conservatory, runs the Blooms and Butterflies exhibit thru July 4, 2010. Children delight as the butterflies fly overhead and even land on a hand or arm if you are lucky. As well, the foliage is wonderful as you walk through the exhibit.
June 19, adults only, is Zoofari at the Columbus Zoo. Featuring food, music and fun, this is the annual fundraiser for the Columbus Zoo.
June 19-20 is the annual Olde Worthington Arts Festival, ranked 35 in the top 100 art fairs. Held on the Village Green at the corner of Rt. 161 and Rt. 23 (High St.) there is art for every taste.
The Easton Art Fair, held at Easton Town Center, is being held June 25-27. .
June 27 is the walking German Village Haus Tour. German Village, located just south of downtown Columbus, is an area of restored homes with fabulous gardens and brick walks.
The Wilds, in Cumberland, OH 43732 (740) 638-5030. The Wilds is one of the largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers in the world and a must visit this summer. Be sure to call ahead for available tours.
Of course COSI is open year round and the exhibits change often. A day at the Center of Science and Industry will surely call you back for further visits.
